Okay, Kirsten set this up for me almost a year ago, and with everything in life I have never gotten going with the blog. But that is now officially over! I am committing myself (okay, as a high school teacher I was committed long ago) to doing blog updates at least a couple times a week! Not just updates, I am going to do remaking clinics, painting, you name it. I have NO secrets, ask me anything! I plan to do customs step by step, let subcribers summit ideas for new pieces, get feedback, give tips, a real interactive blog for all to enjoy. So hear goes! Just one warning, I am a lousy photographer, something I hope will get better with this blog!
For the first theme I wanted to show how much fun a particular model is to play with. The great alborozo. I absolutly love this mold, from simple repaints
To more elaborate customs. This one was done last year, there is Galileo, an alborozo remade to a levade in mulberry grey. This color was done with the body work done in acrylic, but the mane and tail are done with an acrylic base and then eye shadow to shade it. No really, eye shadow! It works just like pastels, just fix the layers with a matte fixitive! Sorry the pictures are out of order!
Then the more elaborate, this is Mole Bait. Mole Bait is a multi multi live show champ in breed (mustang) and workmanship. His roan color was done all in pastels and eye shadow. Okay this is annoying, I can't get the pics to add in order....help???? Mole Bait is at the top now.then the piebald courbette, then a bigger Mole Bait.and as you can see he is angry..I am so blond!Last one, now this one will be at the top since I can't even get these things to drag right....grrrr okay could it be my very old browser on this thing?

my last one, this horse is a combination of two favorite Hamilton paintings of mine. The courbette position was the hardest to do with alborozo so far...but I love it! I will post the painting with more pictures of him after I figure out this photo order thing!

Hey Tiff, feel free to ask me any blogger related questions. After 500 posts on my own blog, I think I've got this mostly figured out.
Here is the method I use for getting the pictures and text in the proper order: I start by uploading all the pictures I plan to use in my post. Order them from last to first as you're uploading. Next, I go in and remove all the weird spacing between the pictures. I've found that the more pictures you add. The weirder the spacing gets. Last but certainly not least, I add the text around the photos. If you follow this pattern, your posts will look better and all your pictures will enlarge when clicked.
You can also click and drag pictures while you're writing your post, but if you do that you lose the enlarge feature.
Anyway, hope this is helpful and feel free to ask me any blogger questions you may have!
